Utricularia rostrata is an annual, (perennial in cultivation) terrestrial species endemic to the Chapada Diamantina highlands of Bahia, Brazil, where it grows in wet, sandy soils and seepage areas of the campos rupestres. It produces fine, threadlike leaves and delicate white to lilac flowers distinguished by the characteristic forward-projecting “beak” on the upper corolla lip. Plants may or may not be flowering at the time of purchase. You will receive a 1" plug of this Utricularia.
