Utricularia humboldtii
|
Utricularia humboldtii is a large lithophytic, subaquatic, or epiphytic perennial native to the Guiana Highlands of Venezuela, Guyana, and northern Brazil, where it grows in water-filled leaf axils of large bromeliads or on constantly wet sandstone outcrops. It forms very broad, leathery, orbicular leaves on long petioles, often suspended above the substrate or held in bromeliad tanks. Its tall scapes bear large violet to purple flowers with a pale, yellowish palate, making it one of the most striking and recognizable species in the genus. Plants may or may not be flowering at the time of purchase. You will receive a 1" plug of this plant.
Please note this plant will ship bare root via USPS Priority Mail. Heat packs are not automatically included. I offer a 72 and 96 hour heat pack as additions.
