Utricularia blanchetii (Chapada Diamantina, Bahia, BRA)
|
Utricularia blanchetii is a small terrestrial species endemic to the Chapada Diamantina of Bahia, Brazil, where it grows in wet sandy soils and rocky seepages within the campos rupestres. It forms fine, grasslike leaves and produces delicate white flowers with a bright yellow palate blotch. This form looks similar to U. parthenopipes, but can be distinguished by the numerous flowers it produces per stem.
