Selaginella martensii variegated

Selaginella martensii is an evergreen lycophyte endemic to the tropical forests of Mexico and Central America. It inhabits humid, shaded forest floors, rocky banks, and ravine slopes where constant soil moisture and high humidity are present. The variegation on this appears to always return to this plant, even if I take a cutting of entirely green leaves, eventually the variegation returns. This genus remains relatively unchanged for over 300 million years!

As always, plants can look different with different amounts of light. The plants you receive may be a slightly different color than what is shown, either more colorful or more green depending on a variety of factors. I grow these plants in vivariums between 68-83°F and in high humidity (90%+). don't recommend growing any of my terrarium plants outside of terrariums.
