Drosera tokaiensis seeds
A natural hybrid between Drosera rotundifolia and Drosera spatulata, endemic to Japan, this adaptable terrestrial sundew thrives in similar conditions to sub tropical sundews like D. capensis, D. aliciae, or D. spatulata. It forms compact rosettes of reddish leaves and sends up hot pink flowers, with the same plant often sending up multiple flower stems at the same time.
Seeds from the Drosera genus are extremely small, ranging between 0.25 and 3mm. Germination can take anywhere from 7-180 days, but generally occur within the first two weeks under optimal conditions. Cold stratification is not needed. I recommend sowing on a mix of washed peat moss and keep them in high humidity until they sprout.
This offer includes a packet of 50+ seeds per order. Seeds are wrapped in an origami paper envelope and put into a small plastic baggie. Please be careful when opening the packets as the seeds are extremely small (see photo(s)) Seeds are shipped in a padded, tracked envelope without a heat pack. I do not offer untracked shipping for seeds at this time.
