Known only to the Chapada Diamantina highlands in Bahia, Brazil, with a small disjunct population known to Serra de Jacobina, this sundew is a difficult one for most in cultivation. It forms an upright rosette of green to red leaves and occasionally produces flower stems of 4-7 pink flowers.

Seeds from the Drosera genus are extremely small, ranging between 0.25 and 3mm. Germination can take anywhere from 7-180 days, but generally occur within the first two weeks under optimal conditions. Cold stratification is not needed. I recommend sowing on a mix of washed peat moss and keep them in high humidity until they sprout.

This offer includes a packet of 20+ seeds per order. Seeds are wrapped in an origami paper envelope and put into a small plastic baggie. Please be careful when opening the packets as the seeds are extremely small (see photo(s)) Seeds are shipped in a padded, tracked envelope without a heat pack. I do not offer untracked shipping for seeds at this time.
