A widespread temperate sundew native to North America, Europe, and parts of South America, this adaptable species grows terrestrially in sphagnum bogs, lake margins, and other wet, acidic habitats. It forms upright rosettes of narrow, reddish-green leaves and produces tall scapes of small white flowers. This offering is for a specific locale that grows as a lowland, tropical intermedia from Luepa, Bolivar, Venezuela, a location about 135km NW of Mount Roraima. This variety produces significantly fewer flowers/seeds and grows much smaller than most other intermedia I've grown.

Care for this carnivorous plant is simple. I recommend using a mix of 1:1 peat to perlite, using the tray method to keep the substrate constantly wet with water under 50 PPM TDS. I use a 14 hour photoperiod at about 250 PPFD, but you can use a natural photoperiod or anywhere from 10-16 hours. I normally spray the leaves with 1,000-2,500PPM MaxSea fertilizer weekly, or as often as I remember.

Please note this plant will ship potted via USPS Priority Mail. Heat packs are not automatically included. I offer a 72 and 96 hour heat pack as additions. Please make sure to add one of these options before completing your purchase to be eligible for live arrival guarantee if your day time temperatures are below 50°F. You will receive a plant that is at least 1-1.5" in diameter and ~1" tall.

Any photos of plants are representative of what a mature plant/leaves/flower, etc. may look like for reference only. Pictures of seeds are to show the size of seeds from this species. Any photos of seeds are representative of what you will receive and they are not exact seeds you will receive.
