Utricularia involvens

Utricularia involvens is a medium to large terrestrial bladderwort endemic to Southeast Asia, specifically found in the Malay Peninsula, Thailand, Myanmar, parts of Indochina, and the Northern Territory in Australia. It inhabits lowland to montane wet grasslands, marshes, and seasonal swamps, often found scrambling or climbing through surrounding vegetation in sandy or peaty soils at low altitudes except in Malaysia where it is found at altitudes of up to 900 m. Plants may or may not be flowering at the time of purchase. You will receive a 1" plug of this plant.

Care for this carnivorous plant is simple. I recommend using a mix of 3:1 peat to perlite, using the tray method to keep the substrate constantly wet with water under 50 PPM TDS. I use a 14 hour photo period at about 250 PPFD, but you can use a natural photo period or anywhere from 10-16 hours. I rarely fertilize, but when I do I normally spray the leaves with 500PPM MaxSea fertilizer.
