Utricularia fulva

Native to northern Australia’s floodplains and seasonally wet creeks, this species alternates between aquatic and terrestrial growth as water levels change. Its blooms are bright orange to reddish-orange with a wide lower lip and short spur. Plants may or may not be flowering at the time of purchase. You will receive a 1" plug of this Utricularia.

Care for this carnivorous plant is simple. I recommend using a mix of 3:1 peat to perlite, using the tray method to keep the substrate constantly wet with water under 50 PPM TDS. I use a 14 hour photoperiod at about 250 PPFD, but you can use a natural photoperiod or anywhere from 10-16 hours. I rarely fertilize, but when I do I normally spray the leaves with 500PPM MaxSea fertilizer.
