Selaginella uncinata is a creeping spikemoss native to southern China and northern Vietnam, where it grows terrestrially on shaded, moist rock faces and forest floors in humid subtropical forests. It forms low, mat-forming stems with flattened sprays of leaves that exhibit a distinctive blue-green iridescence, especially under low light. It forms creeping, fern-like stems with iridescent blue-green foliage that shows a metallic sheen under low light. Growing it under higher light will result in a more red color. This plant is lycophyte, and this genus remains relatively unchanged for over 300 million years!

As always, plants can look different with different amounts of light. The plants you receive may be a slightly different color than what is shown, either more colorful or more green depending on a variety of factors. I grow these plants in vivariums between 68-83°F and in high humidity (90%+). don't recommend growing any of my terrarium plants outside of terrariums.
