Drosera 'Dreamsicle'

This plant is a registered cultivar, created by Brian Barnes in 2007, and is a hybrid between Drosera filiformis var. filiformis "florida red" and Drosera tracyi. The leaves of this hybrid have a fiery orange color, hence the name. 

Care for this carnivorous plant is simple. I recommend using a mix of 1:1 peat moss to perlite, using the tray method to keep the substrate constantly wet with water under 50 PPM TDS. I grow them outdoors in zone 8a in full sun, year-round. I don't fertilize these plants at all as they catch plenty of bugs on their own.

Please note this plant will ship potted via USPS Priority Mail. Heat packs are not automatically included. I offer a 72 and 96 hour heat pack as additions. If purchasing between November and February you will receive a dormant hibernaculum, a plant just waking up in March, and a 2-4" tall plant April-October.
