A widespread temperate species found across North America, Europe, and parts of Asia, this sundew grows terrestrially in sphagnum bogs and wet peatlands. It forms graceful rosettes of elongated, red-tipped leaves and produces tall scapes of delicate white to pale pink flowers, thriving in cool, bright, and consistently moist conditions. It is arguably the most cold tolerant Drosera, known to grow in  the state of Alaska, USA, and Northern Norway, as far North as the 70th parallel! This is considered a cold temperate plant and will struggle when temperatures exceed 90F.

Seeds from the Drosera genus are extremely small, ranging between 0.25 and 3mm. Germination can take anywhere from 7-180 days, but generally occur within the first two weeks under optimal conditions. Cold stratification is not needed. I recommend sowing on a mix of washed peat moss and keep them in high humidity until they sprout.

This offer includes a packet of 25+ seeds per order. Seeds are wrapped in an origami paper envelope and put into a small plastic baggie. Please be careful when opening the packets as the seeds are extremely small (see photo(s)) Seeds are shipped in a padded, tracked envelope without a heat pack. I do not offer untracked shipping for seeds at this time.
