Drosera aff. roraimae "tropical lowland" (Luepa, Bolivar, VEN)
After discussion with others, I believe this plant is actually Drosera aff. roraimae. Previously, I received this plant and had it listed as Drosera intermedia, but I no longer believe that to be correct. This offering is for a specific locale that grows as a lowland, tropical form from Luepa, Bolivar, Venezuela, a location about 135km NW of Mount Roraima.
Care for this carnivorous plant is simple. I recommend using a mix of 1:1 peat to perlite, using the tray method to keep the substrate constantly wet with water under 50 PPM TDS. I use a 14 hour photoperiod at about 250 PPFD, but you can use a natural photoperiod or anywhere from 10-16 hours. I normally spray the leaves with 1,000-2,500PPM MaxSea fertilizer weekly, or as often as I remember.
Please note this plant will ship potted via USPS Priority Mail. Heat packs are not automatically included. I offer a 72 and 96 hour heat pack as additions. Please make sure to add one of these options before completing your purchase to be eligible for live arrival guarantee if your day time temperatures are below 50°F. You will receive a plant that is at least 1-1.5" in diameter and ~1" tall.
